Nomination for Membership in the GHS Athletic Hall of Fame

• Any person of good and moral character shall be eligible for induction to the GHS – Athletic Hall of Fame.
• The Committee will solicit written nominations for selection to the Athletic Hall of Fame and select a list of no less than three (3) inductees per year for membership.
• Alumni, committee members, community members, school administration, school employees, and/or Greenville School Board members may submit nominations to the Committee.
• Nominations may be made on a continuous year-round basis.
• An individual athlete will be eligible for selection 10 years after the graduation date of their class.
• A coach, athletic trainer, or individual (non-student athlete) may be selected any time after five (5) years following retirement or resignation from that sport.
• A team may be selected 10 years after the season ends for that sport.
• Nominations submitted to the Athletic Director by April 15 each year will be considered by the Committee.
• Nominations made containing extraordinary circumstances will be considered at the Committee’s discretion.
